New Sponsor!

We are happy to announce a new sponsor for the truck project! We are currently working with Buckstop Truckware and the Dodge will be sporting a brand new bumper for the Overland Expo. The Dodge will be getting a "Classic" model that we'll paint to match the bed, rockers, and wheels. Really exited to get this installed as a bumper is something the truck has been sorely lacking. Many thanks to Buckstop for their generosity!

A custom bike for Travis

We are building a custom mountain bike for Travis of Safari Pacific fame. Travis is a fabricator, gearhead, and Overlander with an eye for style and quality. The challenge is to build a bike that measures up to his discerning eye as well as his desire for a lightweight, but sturdy and reliable rig. More details soon.

I've been on (and off) the road travelling for a while and have been very negligent about updating the site. Pictures soon, but for now I can tell you the bicycle project is finished and turned out even better than I imagined!

Top Secret update:

We are very happy to finally pull the wraps off of the "HBDA-T2" project!

This will be an off road capable, fully self-contained camp trailer! The project is progressing well and a new section on this site with pics is forthcoming. The official unveiling will be during Safari Pacific's event at their fabrication facilities in Apache Junction AZ on Oct 23rd.

The frame has been shipped!

Scott has shipped the frame and it should be here Wednesday. Almost two months to the day, not too bad for a full custom frame!

Top Secret!

Here Be Dragons Adventures is finally starting on a much delayed prototype project. The plans are drawn, material is on order, and enthusiasm is high! What is it? Well if we told you it wouldn't be "Top Secret" would it? Look for more info in 5-7 weeks along with where you can attend the unveiling.
